The menorah, a symbol of universal enlightenment in Judaism. The menorah is usually a seven-branched candelabrum.As per Wikipedia:
"The seven lamps allude to the branches of human knowledge, represented by the six lamps inclined inwards towards, and symbolically guided by, the light of God represented by the central lamp. The menorah also symbolizes the creation in seven days, with the center light representing the Sabbath."
This one here is a nine-branched candelabrum, often used by Jews to celebrate Hanukkah, or the time of the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the 2nd Century BCE.
And while it's not yet time for the observation of Hanukkah, this piece warrants publishing as a sign of support for Israel during these difficult times.
Just as Israel needs a symbol of light to get through this difficult time, we need a symbol of light that can help make the world a better place.
