Description
Its been a long time coming, but i was hit with a picture this morning, of the knot reflected in three planes. After I had made the picture , i tried to find the perfect angle of inclination for the planes, but none of them seemed right alone, so i had to make them all.
It took a while, becuse i still havent got the hang of POV animation, so I used the good old fashioned frame-by-frame approach. What i love most about it is the way colours appear from nowhere. I only used #FF0000, #00FF00 and #0000FF for the knot and the planes. The original plan was that the blue plane would only reflect the blue parts of the knot etc, but POV dosen't appear to be familiar with that law of light.
The knot itsef is right in front of the camera, in the same position as with Celtic Reflections 3 , but I have set the image and shadow to off, so that there is a clearer picture of the reflections without the distractions of the actual image.

If you want to stop on a particular frame, simply roll the mouse over the animation. To start it again, roll off the image. Simple really.

I really love this......
When I'm bored, I can spend a little time playing with this wonderful kaleidoscope and create a different picture each time I stop it! Fab!!
