UPDATED!:Name: Marcus Bait (likes to be called Mark or Marky, though)
Pokemon : Shiny Magikarp
Gender : Male
Age : Eighteen
Ability : Rattled (he’s a good fighter, ironically, but if it’s outside of class then he can run away like no tomorrow)
Nature : Stupid Naïve
Moveset : Splash, Flail
Personality : Marky is a simple man, very, very simple. He’s nice to anyone that cares to talk to him, and he stands up for what he thinks is right. He might not be the brightest, but he’s motivated by his passions, unfortunately, his only passions are food, sleeping, and breathing. Other than that, he’s quite oblivious of nearly everything around him, and finds it hard to sit still. He has no idea how incredibly shiny and blinding his hair is to those around him. ( I advise one to wear sunglasses in his presence*)
History : Being the only shiny pokemon for miles, he and his family were highly regarded in their town. As a child the village loved him dearly for his sweet smile and charm. He was so loved on the outside, that many forgot to check the inside, even his parents, causing his intelligence and social grasp to be brushed aside in the face of his appearance. On the bright side, Mark has a strong fondness for cooking, and is quite the little amateur chef.

When Shara heard the cough and the greeting, she turned to see a male with the shiniest hair she has ever seen. She squinted a bit. "Hello!" She greeted back with a smile.

"Hi there! I'm Mark, and you're...Shara right? Murdoc has told
me all about you! Nice to finally meat you! So..whatcha got?"
He grinned and leaned down, obvious to the fact that he might
hurting her eyes.

She squinted a little more. "Murdoc told you about me? Well, it's nice to meet you too Mark." She smiled before she looks at her lunch. "Oh this? It's just a bagel loaded with salmon and other stuffs." She told him.

"It is delicious. My friend helped me made it a couple of hours ago so it's still fresh." She noticed that he was drooling a bit. "You want one? I still got two more in my lunch box." She puts down her bagel and pick up her lunch box before opening it. There were two more bagels in it. She took one out and hands it to him.

Mark: *gapes in adoration* Really!?!? You'd do that for me!? I...
I love you already for this! *takes the bagel with a blush and a
beautiful smile* No wonder so many of my friends now about you!
*sits down with her, opening his own lunchbox* I've got some twinkies
and cookies, do you want some?

"Sure. If you don't mind sharing." She smiled. "Many of your friends know about me. I hope they're not talking about bad things about me." She frowned slightly.

"What, Mur and Ella?" Mark said with a shocked face, "I don't think I've ever heard so much as
a negative cough come out of there mouths. They're like, the nicest people I know!" He began to hand her some of the random multitude of snacks stashed within his box. "They say you're really nice, so it's great to finally meet ya'~!"

"Murdoc and Ella?" She smiled. "I have to agree with you. They are some of the nicest people I know." She accepted the snacks he gave her. "Thank you. It's nice to meet you too. I love making new friends!"

"You're welcome, andMe too!" Mark grinned ecstatically, " I love meeting new people, you know?
It's like, you never know what kind of personality they'll have, or their
backgrounds. It's all really interesting..." Blinks, thinking for a moment, "Oh
but, I don't mean that I like to just meet new people, I keep my friendships for
as long as they want me~!" He said with childish delight, slouching a bit and happily
eating the delicious bagel she'd given him.

"I'll be happy to be your friend!" She said as she took a bite out of the snack Mark gave her.

"Right back atcha!" He grinned cheekily, finishing the bagel.

"Was it good? I'm not really a cook in the kitchen so I thought that it wouldn't taste good. Even though I taste it, I still don't know if other people would like it." She asked.

"It was marvelous, honestly." Licking any spare cream cheese off his thumb.

"Really? Thank you then. Good thing that my friend guided me how to make it. I don't want them to burn like I did with my poffins." She sheepishly laugh.

Mark frowned at the thought of possibly wasted food, burnt or not, "I'm sure they were
still delicious, and I hope you didn't just throw them out." The end of his
sentence was of true sadness, nearly comical.

Shara had to chuckle at his response. "Even though they were burnt, I didn't threw them away. I didn't like to waste my food so I ate them. It did gave me a tummy ache afterwards."

Mark frowned, "Well...I hope it wasn't a bad tummy ache, I really hate those." He wrinkled
his nose in distaste, "But sometimes, you know..it's worth it just for the food, like eating
something really acidic but soooo delicious. You know what I mean? "

"It wasn't a bad tummy ache, just a bit uncomfortable." She said. "I know what you mean. It's worth it when the flavor is awesome and delicious." She smiled.

"Ah, it's like you're reading my mind! Too cool~" Mark beamed,
loving how she described what he'd said exactly.

" All the better. Sometimes psychic people freak me out." Mark said,
shivering a slight, " They ask me questions, just to tell me my answers.
I mean, is there really even a point in it?"

"I guess. I don't want to sound rude or anything but maybe they just want to show off their abilities?" She gave her opinion.

"Actually, I have. This one guy who was and Espeon asked me a question and he told me to answer in my mind." She said

blinked, marveling at the possibilities and talents that his
peers have. " Did it work? "

"After I answered it in my mind, he put his head on my forehead. I felt a tingly sensation and then he told me what I answered. He answered correctly." She told him.

Mark gaped in astonishment, "WOAH! THAT'S SO COOL!" His eyes
were practically sparkling as much as his hair. " That's nothing
like how my experience was! I'm so jealous." His face was caught in the
middle of a comical cross between a half-gape and wide beaming grin.

"How was your experience like?" She asked as she giggled at his expression.

"Sort of...creepy..I guess." He shrugged, trying to recall
the incident, "they grabbed my wrist and started touching my
palm, rubbing it all weird and announcing all this stuff about
my past. It scared me...since they just came out of no where." He finished,
trying not to get too much into the slightly traumatic experience.

Shara shivered slightly from the story. "That sounds really creepy." She exclaimed.

His mouth was still slightly open, as always, and he replied, " It was. But...
It doesn't really bother me much now, especially when there's so many better
things to be focused on. Like food."

She giggled at his answer. "You sure love food. Are you planning on being a chef when you grow up?" She asked.

Mark blinked, looking up in surprise, " I didn't really think of that as a career...
but..I bet I could be! I'm told that I'm an amazing cook." He laughed, " It's
probably one of the only things I'm good at." After another pause, he
added, "What do you think you're going to be when you grow up?"

"Me? Hmm...I think I want to be a kindergarten teacher. I want to care and teach children." She said.

" I think you'd be awesome at it! You're really nice, you know?" He patted her on the
shoulder assuringly.

She blushed slightly. "Thank you. I always wanted to make a safe haven for children to grow up and learn."

" Really? Even when you were little?" He asked, surprised but
admirably.

"Ever since I was little. I just don't want them to go through the same thing I did." She said in a quiet tone. A lone tear slid down her cheek.

Mark, though not the brightest man, knew that tone wasn't
at all a happy one, and though he didn't see the tear
escape her eye, he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder,
" I'm sorry for your past."

She hastily wiped her tear away with her hand. "I-It's alright. Thank you." She thanked him. The comforting hand he put on her shoulders made her calm down.

"If you ever need anyone to talk about stuff like that
with, I don't mind. I'm not good with words, but I've
got a good set of ears on my shoulder, ya know?" He
tried to make the atmosphere lighter.

"Thanks for the offer. Still, I wouldn't want to bother you with my story." She said.

Mark shook his head, "You'd never be a bother, trust me."

"Really? Okay then." She took a deep breath. "When I was six, I was playing outside alone. I wondered a little too far from my home. Before I knew it, I was lost." She started.

Mark nodded, waiting for her to continue. His face
was-for the most part-politely blank, but his
eyes showed a slight bit of foreboding wonder.

"Then, a pair of hands grab me. I struggled but I was knocked out cold. The next thing I knew, I was in a cage with other Pokemon my age. I was very scared." She continued.

"That's horrible...thank god you got out of there." Mark
replied, eyes narrowing in worry for the others that were
in such a terrible tale.

"Yeah, but it wasn't easy. It took me three days for me to get out. It was lucky too that the guard happened to take a lunch break at that time. If he didn't...well, I wouldn't be here talking to you." She said with a small smile.

never guessing she had such a befallen past.
