Description
I did a quick picture of the tanuki because(a) it's cute and
(b) I wanted a reference for his 'colour scheme' (which is a little more regular than in my sketch)
tanuki come from Japan I think, and are actually canids (although of quite a basic form, I think??) not raccoons. I'm not sure if they're extinct yet or not?

They are not extinct, in fact their numbers are incressing to the point of them becomign a pest on the same level as the red fox.
Anyway, great drawing, just like a 'coon dog!

Theyre not extinct. They live in asia, russia and some places in scandinavia (were I'm from!
