+Will try and do this for IT and FeralHeart
+Still requires a manually adding finished Texture/Preset into a character.
+Will maybe do this for AroKai, maybe.

Interesting Where is this done? (In the game or on a different application with the model and UVS loaded in? And what about the scripts?) I've considered interactive preset creation in Aro'kai, but that's not a priority, and something I personally don't know how to do.

Just using Sculptris. I know there's probably an easier way to do this with Blender and skipping all the grid UVmapping, and the scripts still have to be put in manually. Just haven't seen any interactive mouse-to-model preset tutorials yet :3 There's programs that do it easy-peezy like 3D Coat, but that cost moneys, and I'm still learning Blender x.x, Sculp is free and pretty simple to explain sturff with

I tried 3D Coat out a few weeks ago. It was fantastic to work with, but a huge shame that it costs so much to get the full features. I've been meaning to play around with Sculptris sometime. Which version of Blender are you working with and what are you trying to learn in Blender right now? I may have some nice visual YT tutorials for you depending on what you're trying to learn right now. :u

I'm actually using 2.49b, mostly curious about the interactive model texture painting ^^

Oh Okay. I actually don't have a tutorial on that. At least not off hand. If I find something, I'll link you here? (Or on skype, whichever is your preferred.

In blender it's done using a mode called "texture paint", and it is just like "edit mode" "object mode" etc, you need to have a UV on it first though, then you can paint on the model. however I am not sure how that would be done if the model is outside of Blender in another application :/
Texture paints brush system is identical to weight paint mode too, just not painting weights but rather a texture. If any of tat helped at all :I

can you texture multiple body parts at once that have their own UVmaps?

If the objects are joined then yes, because you can join objects that have different UVs, in fact you can highlight a small spot on a mesh and have just that part use a dif UV then the rest if you wanted, so multiple UVs on same object works. Though Blender can select more than one separate object at a time, modes other than 'object mode' won't let you :/
So to get that to work, make all the separate objects, rigg them and such and make them a basic UV, then join them all as on object and texture paint.
