I haven't done a model in awhile, and just got done watching Pom Poko again.

-Been trying to figure out ways of lowering Verts/Surfs without loosing model detail. One personal told me anything under 1000 is fine, while another said anything over 500 is too much, so idk, what do you guys think?

-Trying to put more detailed textures, and using new brushes

-UVMapped it myself, trying to avoid using Sculptris 'wtf uvmap lol puzzle' auto mapping thingy. Way easier for using textures right on the map itself.

This is more for my Portfolio's sake, but if you guys want I can animate it and release it as a prey for IT stuff

Going from my experience, you can go well above 1000 poly (for critters; items don't need as much detail) without a problem. I'd say no higher than 5000 poly, though.

Under 1000 is fine, if you can manage under or around 500 it's even better though :3

I like the textures on this. I would say anything around or under 1000 is fine lol
