Description
Spike stood on the highest balcony of the Castle, watching the pegasi fly by. He sighed heavily, longing to join them.
He then heard Twilight talking to somebody: “I'm just concerned about Spike!”
Spike looked down at a lower balcony, where Twilight was talking to Ember (who was carrying her egg with her). Twilight continued, “According to what you’ve taught me about dragons, he should've gone through at least three molts by now, but he hasn't! Is something amiss with him? Has living with ponies made him incapable of growing? Or is some outside force stopping him?”
Ember replied, “That may be a possibility.”
Spike couldn't believe what he was hearing. There was something causing him not to grow up?
He looked off into the distance, determination growing on his face. He was going to find out what was making him stagnate.
