Meanwhile, New Town harnesses atmospheric rivers and the colossal sophonophores that swim within them. The scientists of New Town rarely interact with the people of Old Town. Though, they did provide them with the blueprints for their arkstorm sirens that warn when an atmospheric river is about to "flood."
