Robin Ryder / 22 years old / April 27th / 5'6" / 142lbs / Fortree, Hoenn

Brief History:

Robin was the youngest of two of a wealthy Contest enthusiast and Businessman in Lilycove. Her older brother by 5 years, Sampson, had always been her idol. When Sam left to start his pokemon adventure she was heartbroken, but her hope was revived when her brother returned a few years later with the announcement that he was to begin training to be a Pokemon Ranger in Fortree. After much pleading, Sam agreed to take Robin with him.

In Fortree she met her (still) best friend Cael Morales, the daughter of a Breeder and a Ruin Maniac. The two grew up together, causing trouble at every turn. She learned a lot from Cael and her parents; Cael's mother taught her a lot about natural medicine to help her in her adventures, and Cael's father taught her to be more observant. When her time came, Cael left briefly to pursue her own pokemon adventure, but Robin stayed. She had every intention of being a Pokemon Ranger like her older brother, and had no desire to waste her time gathering badges.

There came a time, however, when Robin realized her world was small, and her experience limited to the woods around her hometown. This is when she began venturing further abroad, learning and battling people from all over. This is also when she learned of competitions such as the Helios Conference, and decided it would be a fantastic experience; Unfortunately Robin was called back by her acceptance as a Ranger, and was unable to complete the competition.

She returns to the contest scene, years later and with a whole new team, to try and find the excitement she'd felt upon her discovery of Helios. Here's to hoping BFOI will be just as much fun.

Personality:

Robin is a sweet girl. She's inquisitive and cunning, responsible and a tad hasty, but most of all she's compassionate. As a response to her dream to be a Ranger, she's always on the lookout for people and pokemon who may need her help. She's an adventurous and competitive soul, never turning down a challenge or battle. Robin has, however, always had trust issues. Always having been a timid child, the only people ever to have coaxed her out of her shell are Cael and her family, and her own brother Sam. She instead finds friendship and trust in the pokemon she surrounds herself with, and finds it difficult to talk to and have confidence in other people.

Pokemon:

Eos: Shy, but kindhearted. Always willing to fight for Robin, but more interested in helping her with her Ranger duties.

Nyx: Tricky and sly. She enjoys fighting a tad too much and never backs down from a battle---sometimes even if Robin says to.

Deimos: Deimos is tricky and double-crossing. He prefers to cheat and play it easy in his battles. A trickster.

Zeus: Confident, despite his size. Runs into any situation knowing he can and will do his best.

Typhon: Easygoing and pleasant. He's happy to be on the islands---he enjoys spending time with Robin and islands mean swimming.

Ceres: The only member from Robin's old team. Ceres is gentle, yet strong willed, always happy to help Robin with whatever may arise.
