I study reference, I draw them on paper, I then scan them into the computer, and lastly I digitally ink and color them.

There's FAQ section that can help you. Id you want to edit other peoples art. then you get their premission, save it and alter it in what ever medium or program you want.

I use a scanner to bring the image into the pc. You make friends by watching people. On a person's home page on DA there is a button in the top corner that says watch this deviant or something like that. You click on it and that person is told that you are watching their art work. That's how you make connections. Talking to people in regular dialog like this makes them friends. So I guess we are friends.
