Poor Boba Fett. My second favourite character in the entire Star Wars universe. (Luke is, of course, my first.) This is a scene from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. One of the Jedi beheaded Jango as Boba watched on in horror, knowing he could not do anything to save his father. After Jango's death, Boba raised himself on his father's principles and became the best bounty hunter in the history of Star Wars, able to do what no other had been able to do previously - capture Han Solo. His movie appearance came to an end after being swallowed by the sarlacc.*SPOILER*
I was trying to remember what he did after he escaped from the Sarlacc. I knew he partnered up with someone he'd met in his earlier years. I forgot it was another bounty hunter called Dengar and that they'd become a team. This happened in the later books. As any Star Wars fan would know, sarlaccs keep their prey alive for many many years while they are slowly digested. It was mostly Boba's armour that protected him and made it possible for him to escape.

Jango, after all, it was his teachings Boba learned from.

And is still alive and kickin' in his seventies as Mand'alor. The guy doesn't quit.
But his dad's death (among other things) really messed him up.

Boba didn't actually die in the Sarlaac, at least not in the books. He escaped, was rescued by another bounty hunter called Dengar, and went on to continue bounty hunting.
