Along with her twin sister Tempest Spin, Anode provides much needed scouting service to the newly founded Autobot movement. Her experimental ornithopter mode proves exceptionally useful, quietly observing the activities of oblivious Decepticons. She is trained to utilize her speed in the event of discovery, her only weapon being a basic blaster. Her eyesight and hearing are nearly unparalleled, augmented by a visor capable of X-ray vision.
Anode and her sister joined the Autobots after their home town was destroyed by Decepticon terror units. Her drive to help the cause in any way possible helped her to move on from the tragedy. She is slightly more cautious than Tempest Spin, taking on a protector role for her impulsive sister. Anode takes on her role with an optimism greatly welcomed by her superiors, who know all too well the gravity of their situation.
