When I decided on (at the last minute, a week ago or so) to use the Nutcracker minifigure, I wanted to make a place for him that was really colorful and looked like renascence-candy. I based the look off of the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed or Собо́р Васи́лия Блаже́нного, tr. Sobór Vasíliya Blazhénnogo (Saint Basil's Cathedral) and choose the right pieces for it.
