So, unless I am wrong, I think Two Towers was the first film of the Trilogy I saw, seeing it on TBS like near halfway through... I mean, technically I saw a glimpse of the ending of Return of the King before, and even saw the parody Lord of the Beans between... (and let that be at LotR alone, because both the Rakin/Bass Hobbit and a play my sister was in as Gollum were viewed prior to even knowing that the two were in the same series/universe). Just seeing the trio of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli was inspiration for me to create fantasy (that and the stories by J.R.R Tolkien's best friend, which I mean to talk about now since I have finished watching the trilogy based off those books....... sigh...). But my memory is kind of fuzzy.... I remember when me, my sister and our friends (a sister and brother) watch the Extended Version of every movie, that was cool. My two younger brothers and I did the same earlier this year (fitting for the 20th anniversary)... by the way, I feel bad because I felt bored watching this at times, unlike Fellowship of the Ring and the last one, I guess the extra filler was.... eh? I'll try watching the normal version sometime. Anyway, Éowyn is also cool! But yeah, the title alone always was a favorite. I forgot to bring up at the beginning that when I first was aware of Lord of the Rings, one of the things as the Academy Awards (BOOOOOO) and the movie was nominated for effetcs I think, I remmebr the airing.... the shot of Orthanc and the actor saying "The Two Towers" struck a cord with me- stuck with my memory. Anyway, I just started reading the novel actually and it's nice so far.
