Silver: Uh... guys... I think I've got a sun burn...
Shadow: Why am I here? I won't be able to get a tan... (he's a black hedgehog...
)Yay! Another summer picture, right now Apol and I are up at the lake hanging with our family... today is suppose to be wonderfully sunny so yay!
BTW, Silver is wearing my (indeah's) sunglasses--I love those sunglasses.

I was about to comment on Shadow's inability to get a tan - but you beat me to it in the description. -_-; 
I don't think Sonic would be able to get a tan either... o_O He's kind of a dark blue

A tan is where your skin becomes brown or browner when exposed to the sun for too long.
Some people get sun burns where the skin can't take in the microwaves (that's the rays from the sun that make your skin darker) so the skin then becomes irritated and turns a pinkish color.
Usually a tan won't hurt but sun burns are deadly and sometimes will restrict movement.
