Hazy Meadows is like a jungle that is covered by a thick layer of fog, but the visibility is low and secrets are hidden in these valleys. There are mountains all around, ancient ruins, out of view of mountains in and near the water & the sky, and mysterious history that is waiting to be discovered. Sonic can wonder what kind of challenges and surprises sonic would encounter here.
