I was gonna make a remark about this picture, until I read the description and realized that this takes place in the future where (presumably) Sonic and Amy are married. Then it all makes sense. Still, the look on Sonic's face is priceless.
I like the outfit you give Amy in this picture.
I was thinking of a way to extend this idea into a short one-page comic, one that puts a twist on the whole situation. Let me know if you want to hear it.

Actually, thinking about it, it wouldn't keep your idea per se, but it does involve Amy and pregnancy:
