The Forest Elves' attack was relentless, and both Kirito and Asuna could feel themselves tiring. The Secret Key was dangling so close, almost within reach. But the Forest Elf decided he'd had enough fun playing games. He started to retreat. In a last ditch effort to save the Secret Key, Asuna leapt at the falcon, only to find herself within its talons, taking her away from Kirito and Kizmel.

Once at the Forest Elves' base of operations, the elf who had stolen the Secret Key made his intentions clear. Asuna was to be his hostage to ensure Kizmel would never get the Secret Key back. Somewhere in her quest log, the name of the Elf War quest had changed, ordering her to be the bargaining chip for the Forest Elves. And with the threat of being flown up high and dropped, there was nothing Asuna could do to resist.

It has been a while. But I finally dusted myself off and pushed through to make another piece. This time, adding to my SAO collection with Asuna. This scene is inspired by the Progressive Manga, Volume 5, where Asuna is almost grabbed by this falcon. But in reality, she was saved by both a wolf and one of the Dark Elves. However, in the realm of art, we can make something else reality. I made so many mistakes during this, so I'm definitely rusty. The most annoying mistake was I made Asuna's hair way too short originally. So I had to spend an hour fixing that. But now the final product is done, I am really proud. And I hope you like it too.

Next up? Hmmm...I'm actually not sure. Maybe I'll do another Ronye and Tiese, since recently, Unleash Blading has covered the part of the Moon Cradle arc where they're locked in the basement.
