Both modes for the Bayard weapons of the Order of the Paladins (Black Bayard in the center as base-form reference)

Primary Functions: Machine-humanoid interface technology and nanotechnology weapon creation based on each Paladin's fighting style

Top (Black Paladin Grandmaster Keith Kogane): Melee: Altean Broadsword
                                                Ranged: Separable dual plasma pistols

Upper Left (Red Paladin Grandmaster Lance McClain): Melee: Double-bladed energy spear (upgraded to Altean war-pike in Chapter 61)
                                                       Ranged: Plasma assault rifle w/ extendable sniper barrel and flip-out scope

Lower Left (Blue Paladin Grandmaster Allura Fala): Melee: Laser whip (with taser function on tip)
                                                   Ranged: Bow & energy arrows

Bottom (White Paladin Master Seneschal Sven Holgersson): Melee: One-handed battleaxe
                                                               Ranged: Cryo pistol (single tap on the trigger fires ice bullet, holding fires freeze ray)

Lower Right (Yellow Paladin Grandmaster Tsuyoshi "Hunk" Garret): Melee: Altean warhammer (with kinetic generator in head)
                                                                                    Ranged: Plasma minigun w/ fold-out tripod

Upper Right (Green Paladin Grandmaster Katherine "Pidge" Holt): Melee: Energy katar
                                                                                   Ranged: Plasma shuriken pistol (with smart-attack programming)
