HEADCANON: Before the events of A Tale of Heroes 2, Henry got Bendy a Cat Sweater to disguise himself and hide his horns, since there are people out there who see demons as evil creatures of sin and lust. the disguised worked.

(however, Melissa and her gang still were able to recognize his face, and seeing that he was on his own while the two Sophies were away, they captured him. thats why Sophie 2 will do all she can to keep him out of any harms way. she believes bad things happen to him whenever he's alone.)
