Description
(after listening to Wilson's words, Audrey immediatly got up from her seat and grabbed the GENT pipe as the train starts to stop.)Wilson: Stay close. this place isn't as safe as it was once.
(as they Disembark from the train, Audrey heads past the Keeper and turns right, Following Wilson into the next room.)
Wilson: the demons' evil continues to spread. this world has begun to shutter...
(Audrey hears ringing in her ears, and hears the ink demon's voice in her head.)
''He is lying, Audrey...''
Audrey: (sharply in anger) be quiet!
(the ringing stops)
Wilson: what did you say?
Audrey: Nothing...i-it was nothing.
(Wilson shrugs and pulls a switch that leads to the next room.)
Wilson: Almost there. just a quick stop. won't take but a moment.
(Audrey gets inside the next room where a keeper stares at her.)
Keeper: the subject will stand in the designated location.
(Audrey stands inside a circle, and a glass capsule closed in on her.)
Keeper: Lethal object detected. the subject will submit all weapons for further screening. disarm now.
(Audrey heads towards a table, seeing the Tommy Gun, the Axe, and a large seeing glass, and places her GENT pipe among those objects.)
Keeper: Remain still for examination.
(Audrey stands inside the circle again and the glass door closed on her, encasing her once more.)
Keeper: the subject is cleared for entry.
(and with that, Audrey was freed and heads to the next door that had the following words: WILSON, THE MAN WHO KILLED THE INK DEMON at the entrance to his Manor.)
Wilson: Welcome to the civilized world!
(Audrey follows Wilson inside the manor.)
Wilson: How do you like my signal towers? they nullify the ink demon's powers so he cannot pass them. I wish I could say I invented them, but it seems that our friends at the Gent Corporation had a demon problem of their own, long ago. and now my dear, if you'll excuse me, I have a lot to prepare. we'll talk later, I promise. besides, you must be very tired. a quick rest will do you good. (motions to his servant) Betty will show you to your room. she's my housekeeper, among other things.
Audrey: (looks at a portrait of Wilson holding a weapon, fighting the ink demon.) you never actually killed the Ink Demon... did you?
Wilson: No. he is too powerful to destroy. so we split him in two halves. one who managed to escape, and the other was sealed away, trapped in a different form. one that was smaller and harmless.
Audrey: the other Bendy. Bendy 2...
Wilson: it was a fitting prison, although he seems to have found a way to free himself. but enough talk, we'll deal with that soon enough.
Betty: there's some nice fresh blankets all laid out for you. you'll be dreaming in no time.
Audrey: (looks to Wilson, who opens the door.) wait, Wilson? one more thing. if you needed my help. why didn't you just ask?
Wilson: (sighs) Daughter of Drew... would you have believed me? (closes the door behind him)
Betty: (to Audrey) come along. and no more dawdling. this way now.
(Audrey follows Betty to the next room in Wilson's Manor.)
Betty: Ah, you're here at last. it's so exciting finally having you with us. now, to give you some bearings, we're currently standing in the South Wing. Wilson's Laboratory is downstairs, and then, there's the North Wing. the Ink Demon got in there a while ago. and ever since, we've had to keep the North Wing locked up tight. I'm afraid it's fallen into ruins by now. all those juicy lovely books gone to waste. only keepers go there these days, and they'll tear you apart limb from limb if Wilson isn't here with you. so, mind your distance and you'll be just fine.
(Audrey follows Betty through the hallways and into the room she is supposed to sleep in.)
Betty: it's not very often that I have guests to look after. especially one I can talk to. almost everyone here either can't speak, or they've gone completely mad.
Audrey: ...
Betty: Alright! here we are! (opens the door) the best room in the house!
(Audrey looks around the bedroom in amazement)
Betty: you should see where I sleep. (shudders in disgust) but this room! Ah! just perfect. I saw it to every detail, that bed is clean, the bathroom is on the left. sorry about the stains, I did try my best to get them out! do you have any questions?
Audrey: is it always night here?
Betty: it's always dark if that's what you mean. for as long as I can remember.
Audrey: Are you...very old?
Betty: no. as far as I understand it, I'm something quite new. although... I didn't turn out the way I was supposed to. one in a long line of failed experiments. but...Wilson will keep trying.
Audrey: and...do you trust Wilson?
Betty: (sighs) this is the realm of the Ink Demon. his shadows hang over us all. I don't trust anyone. But Wilson takes care of me, keeps me safe. he once said I remind him of something he called his...Mother. tell me, is that a good thing where you two, and the Black Seraph are from?
Audrey: I'm not sure. I don't think I ever had one.
Betty: Well, no matter. now, I was told to make sure you get some sleep once you got here. so get nice and comfy, and relax. I left something for you on the table for you on the table that might just help you nod off. it's my own recipe. works very fast. just follow the instructions carefully. (about to close the door.)
Audrey: thanks...Betty.
Betty: of course. if you need anything else, I'll come straight away. I'm always up.
(Audrey sits on the bed, having a somber look on her face, thinking over everything that had transpired up until this point. she takes out the wooden train toy Bendy 2 played with upon their first meeting, and couldn't help but feel sorrow in her heart as she clutches the train close to her chest.)
Audrey: Bendy...
(Meanwhile, Black Seraph Sophie looks around the GENT building, searching for Bailey and Bendy. well...Bendy 1 to be exact. she hid herself from the Keepers who torture the Lost Ones, hearing their screams and cries for help.)
Sophie: (covers her mouth, looking away) God, its like Hell in here...
(the Black Seraph held the scythe and continues her way to prevent herself from being tracked down by the Keepers. fighting them made her suffer with extreme fatigue, and not to mention, the corruption of the Cycle negatively affecting her. as soon as she made her way out of the building undetected, she collapses on her knees lightly, holding her scythe to keep herself standing as she pants in exhaustion.)
Sophie: if only...if only Henry could help me more at this point...Bailey...Bendy... where did you two go?
(Sophie's golden eyes glow brightly and sees signs written in gold ink...it seems that the golden ink was guiding her to where Bailey and Bendy 1 ran off, and getting back up on her feet, she heads back into the dystopian streets, flying in the air, and into the train station. following the trails of gold ink that only she could see, she holds onto her chest, feeling like her soul is becoming corrupted more and more. on cue, a ghost train unexpectedly appeared, and she gets on board immediately, hearing the screams of those that were inside it, as Sophie covers her ears from the unbearable sounds. soon, as the ghost train stops, she finds herself back in the studio, and, as expected Searchers and Lost Ones attacked her, and kills them one by one with the swings of her scythe. she wipes her eyes, trying to fight off the fatigue that came with the corruption of her soul. she finds an Audio Log on the table, one that belonged to Joey Drew himself, and plays the tape to listen to it. )
“It’s been said that dreaming can make it so! And my friends! It has! 1931 is going to be an amazing year at Joey Drew Studios! We’re growing! Knocking out a few walls! Putting in a few desks! And collecting the finest talent money can buy! Nothing is too good for my studio family. So what can you expect in the coming months? Well I can’t say much. Just too many secrets being cooked up in the kitchen. But what I can say is that big things are coming! Massive things! You just watch…At Joey Drew Studios, we’re going to bring dreams…to life.”
(as the tape finishes, Sophie thought of her journey and her struggles here in the Cycle.)
Sophie: You Hypocrite...What dreams? what life? the only thing you've ever done, Joey, was bringing horrors and endless nightmares to life with your lies, just for your own self satisfaction!
(she once again feels a sharp pain in her chest, and winces from the pain, desperately holding onto the scythe with her shaky hand.)
Sophie: what's...happening to me...? my soul... it's being consumed by the darkness... no...I have to keep going. for my friends' sake. for everyone's sake...for Bendy's sake.
(the Black Seraph kept moving around through the deep bowels of the studio, remembering what Allison instructed her and Audrey back then, to head to the upper levels where its safe. along the way, she finds an audio log that belonged to Susie Campbell, and plays it, hearing her voice.)
''The work of a voice actress can be a tough one, mama. You never know what you’re going to be voicing next. When you act in a proper theater…you get to play romantic leads, maybe a queen…some kind of villain. But…when you work for Joey Drew…you never know! I think that’s why I love it so much! Every day is a surprise! Though…I do feel like I’ve been stuck with some low parts lately…nothing I can really write home about. Sammy, our…our music director…was also telling me they’re working on a new character upstairs. Might require a female touch. I’ve got a good feeling something great is about to happen…''
Sophie: oh god...I know that voice...wherever she may be, I hope Audrey doesn't encounter HER of all people. wait...Allison killed her back then, after Boris died.
(and that's when she suddenly hears...)
'' Well... You thought wrong, my little errand girl.''
(lo and behold, there she was, Twisted Alice makes her return once more.)
Sophie: (angrily, points her scythe at Twisted Alice) You!
Twisted Alice: we meet again, and look at you. the dark puddles have changed you drastically. so the rumors of the existence of a four winged angel appear to be true after all. and who would have expected it would be my little errand girl?
Sophie: shut up! What you did to my friend...to Boris back then...! (Charges at Twisted Alice with her scythe) I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS!
(Twisted Alice jumps out of the way, sprouting out her black raven wings.)
Sophie: ?!
Twisted Alice: I know you are looking for that little demon whom you brought his heart back. lets just say, he is not doing so well...
Sophie: Are you torturing him, just like you tortured HIM?!
Twisted Alice: I'd lower your tone if I were you. and no, Just when I was about to catch him in my grasp, he attacked me, while being followed by his angel friend. until...well...that little demon used his powers to make himself disappear out of sight.
Sophie: tell me where he is! (points her scyte at the angel) and NO tricks or lies!
Twisted Alice: my, you have grown quite attached to the little ink demon, have you not?
Sophie: Where. Is. He?!
Twisted Alice: from one angel to another, I'd be more than willing to help you find him. but I will give you a simple clue. Go to the Animation Alley and see the state your demon friend is in. it looks to me that he was finally pushed over the edge...
Sophie: of course he was pushed over the edge! that bastard Wilson said all kinds of things while Bendy and Bailey were hiding! I'm not gonna leave him all by himself!
Twisted Alice: well then...I'll leave you be to take care of him. while I myself have a personal errand to attend to, regarding that human/ink hybrid girl.
Sophie: Audrey...!? I swear, if you lay a hand on her-
Twisted Alice: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm not going to do anything to your friend. we don't want the same mistake repeated do we? well, I shall take my leave, Sophie. (about to fly off) oh, and one more thing.
Sophie: what?
Twisted Alice: down here, pity and compassion are deadly distractions. those traits will only send you further into hell…
(and with that, Twisted Alice chuckles darkly and disappears from Sophie's sight. she shook her head at Twisted Alice's words, believing them all to be lies as always and continues towards the animation alley fighting off more searchers and lost ones to search for Bendy.)
(Back in Wilson's Manor)
(Betty hated being on edge. She was unfortunately used to the feeling, especially around the Keepers. Sometimes around Wilson, if he was having a bad day. But in the realm of the demon, you have to be on your guard, even when you think it’s safe. So why was her anxiety spiking so badly, on today of all days?
Oh, maybe that was it. Wilson had stressed time and time again how important this new guest was, that her purpose was perfect and irreplaceable. The manor is her responsibility, and by extension, everyone who dwelled inside. Wilson keeps her safe, she keeps his home in tip-top shape. But now that she had a new guest, she always kept an ear for any callings, or wandering footsteps. But she hadn’t heard a peep since she left the girl in her room.)
Betty: She must be a heavy sleeper. Yeah, that’s it, poor girl doesn’t look like she’s slept well in days. Must’ve passed out hard not to with those plush pillows and creamy blankets! Oh Bugger, I should check on her
(She waddled off to Audrey’s room, taking note of a few things to tidy up on the way. She carefully opened the door into the room, only peeking inside. Audrey was laying on her bed, looking blankly at the ceiling. She looked so…lifeless, Wilson had said she was one of the most bubbly people he’s met. Then again, he did say she had trouble adjusting to this world too. She wondered what was so different.
She knocked on the door before pushing it fully open.)
Betty: Just came by to check on you, how are you settling in?
Audrey: ....
Betty: Are you having trouble sleeping? Did you drink the tea? If it’s not working, I can go grab-
Audrey: I'm fine.
(She certainly did not sound fine. Her voice sounded as dry as a bone. She hadn’t even sat up to see or acknowledge Betty, she didn’t even bother to slip under the covers. She looked really uncomfortable, and sad, but why?)
Betty: Are you sure? I could fix you up something if you’re hungry, or a fresh outfit to change into
(again she didn’t respond. Betty walked further into the room, and sat on the edge of the bed.)
Betty: Do you want to…talk about anything?
(Audrey didn’t respond for a moment, before softly shaking her head.)
Betty: Alright…do you want me to leave?
(She opened her mouth before closing it, then continued to stare above without response.)
Betty: ...Would you like me to stay?”
(She asked with a bit too much curiosity, which she mentally scolded herself. Audrey looked surprised at the question, but nodded, although she looked ashamed.)
Betty: It’s no bother, dear. It must’ve been dreadful being out there all alone. You’re mighty brave for enduring it all.
(Audrey closed her eyes, putting a hand over her forehead. Her breath became shaky as gold inky tears leaked under her hand.
Audrey: I just…I w-wanna go home.
Betty: Here, sit up dear.
(She helped Audrey up, but she quickly crumbled into herself, wrapping herself with her arms. Betty could feel her heart tear apart when she opened her arms, and Audrey fell into her shoulder. She scooped her up, and rocked her softly, tracing circles, even humming a soothing tune. She didn’t even need to think about it, it just happened.)
Betty: It’s ok, you’re alright. I promise, Wilson will do everything he can to bring you home.
Audrey: B-But I ca-an’t...
Betty: You can, he’ll find a way.
Audrey: No! I-I can’t, I do-on’t…I d-don’t belo-ong there.
Betty: Why not?
Audrey: because I’m…I-I’m…a....
(Unable to finish her sentence, Audrey sobbed into her chest, her tears cold on her skin.)
Betty: I think you do belong there, dear. From what I’ve learned, your world is full of…life, joy, and happiness. Wilson has described you as just that, always smiling, looking forward, and never giving up. I remember once, he was so rotten, he smashed his laboratory to smithereens, and left for the other world to think. When he returned, he couldn’t stop talking about how you showed him how to draw, going over every detail. He stayed up so late practicing.
(Betty shook her head at the memory. Audrey’s face betrayed a small smirk as her breathing slowed. Her tears slowed to a gentle stream, she could hear her strong heart against hers. She looked up at Betty.)
Audrey: Y-You don’t…know anything about me-e.
Betty: I know all I need to know, that you’re a wonderful, bright, and strong woman, that has no business being in a place like this.
(Audrey fell silent, and gently let go of Betty. She steadied her breathing, wiping the last tears out of her eyes. Betty handed a handkerchief to her, letting her blow her nose as she stared down at the bedsheets.
Audrey: ...I’m sorry, I-
Betty: No no, please, don’t apologize, dear. My duty is to take care of you, whenever you need me, for whatever for, I’ll be there.
Audrey: (nods) T-Thank you, Betty.
(Betty nodded, giving a kindly squeeze of her hand.)
Betty: Is there anything else I can do for you?
(Audrey shook her head.)
Betty: well, Best to get some rest then. Use the tea mix if you’re having trouble sleeping, just three sips, and you should be right as rain.
(Audrey nodded as Betty stood up and walked to the door to leave.)
Betty: Sweet dreams.
(She closed the door, standing still for a moment, before spinning on her heel and walking away, leaving Audrey to find the recipe for the tea mix that she needed in order to sleep.)
(back to Sophie, she continues to look around, her exhaustion and fatigue from the corruption of the dark puddles taking its toll on her, until eventually, she finally finds the poor little demon, crying on his knees inside a dark room full of black ink puddles.)
Sophie: Bendy...?
Bendy: (sobs) TmT
Sophie: (crouches down, reaching her hand to him) Bendy, its me...
Bendy: (smacks her hand away) NO! Stay away from me! ,>m<,
Sophie: !!! Bendy...I...I'm here now. everything's going to be okay.
Bendy: No! its not! nothing is ever gonna be okay! not so long as I still exist!
Sophie: whatever Wilson said back there, Its too horrible.
Bendy: but its true! I'm the cause of everyone's suffering! (stands up, facing Sophie with his teary eyes) I'm the reason Henry is imprisoned! and I'm...the reason you're in the state you're in...! its all my fault! everything is always my fault! QmQ
Sophie: (looks at him silently, with such worried and confused eyes)
Bendy: I wish I was the one who killed Joey before he had the chance to lock me away for over 30 years. and I brought hell upon the souls that were trapped in the studio. but of course, when...when you came along and restored my heart, I couldn't be more than grateful that I had you to protect me from the horrors Joey created. I knew that I would be safe as long as you were with me. but now I'm not...not anymore. I'd give absolutely anything to break the cycle of hatred and end this suffering for good. I've already lost Boris, and Alice. I've lost absolutely everything...even my will to live in this cursed existence. (pulls out his scythe)
Sophie: Bendy...?
(Bendy holds his scythe, tears continually spilling from his eyes and in his mind remembers how he was treated by the employees when he transformed for the first time: i.pinimg.com/564x/d5/15/89/d51… )
Bendy: its just as Wilson and everyone else said. that's all that I am...a soulless monster that had no right to exist in the first place.
Sophie: Bendy, please...you don't have to bear all this alone. let me help you.
Bendy: (sniffles) you've done more than enough to help me...but...I'm far beyond saving. I just wanted to protect you...and keep you safe. but all I did in the end was causing you more and more suffering. the corruption of the Dark Puddles you have only gets worse so long as I am still around, consuming your soul rapidly. if this is my fate, to be trapped here, to suffer all alone, for all time, and make others suffer... (throws the scythe like a boomerang as it spun in the air.) then its better for me to die!!!
Sophie: ?!
Bendy: I really am a bad demon. nothing more than a monster. I want to leave this place! I want all this pain to end! I want to disappear forever! QMQ
(Realizing why Bendy threw the scythe in the air, Sophie immediately ran forward to him...he really intends to commit suicide.)
Sophie: NO! BENDY! OAO
(Bendy had his teary eyes closed, ready for the end to come, but felt Sophie embracing him suddenly and pushing him out of the way, and then...)
Sophie: AGH!!! OAO
(The background went red, as Sophie got hit by Bendy's scythe that went deep into her back. Bendy's teary eyes were wide in confusion and horror)
Bendy: Sophie...? Q.Q
(Blood trickles out of Sophie's mouth, as well as her back, her cape being stained with crimson liquid. Sophie tightens her embrace onto Bendy, before her eyes close, losing her grip onto the demon... poor little Bendy watches in absolute horror as the Black Seraph fell forward to the side, his scythe stabbed deep into her back, and she fell on the wooden floor, motionless as her body fell limp.)
Bendy: Sophie?! SOPHIE?! SOPHIEEEEEEEE!!!!! QAQ
