in here, Sophie accompanied Ori to Sein and the Spirit Tree as he desperately sought out help and some answers to why the Blindness occurred, why Kuro was so full of vengeful rage, and why he kept having bad dreams about everything that happened from the day he was born during the Great Storm, etc.

so, when he receives no answers from either Sein or the Spirit Tree for a few moments, poor little Ori breaks down crying, and Sophie couldn't help but pull the little spirit into her embrace, since she saw him cry multiple times (mostly during nighttimes when he wakes up screaming and crying for Naru, and his fellow guardian spirits that died during Kuro's attack.) during their journey together to restore Nibel and evade the wrathful Kuro that wanted them both dead and see Nibel burn to ashes.
