Reminds me of the movie I saw at the Pickman Matinee: Like Abyssal water for Cthonian Elephants.
Looks great.

I guess it is the african perspective, since we instantly think Elephant or whale when we think gigantic, hmmm whales with tentacles eh .....

I don't know, good question though, since if he is thrall of Cthulhu, does he also become more aquatic?

D'oh there goes my Philosophical Stalling, the answer is.... forty two.
eh when I drew him I only pictured him on land, very dry dustbowl type of land at that, so maybe that is a cthulhoid adaptation for those kind of climates, like the most succesfull dry land giant.

Cool, you should get some death metal bands to commission some album covers.

good idea, the only problem is that the bands whom I know people in already have awesome artists in the band itself

This reminds me of the Dunwich Horror only I expect that the beast from that story was bipedal. Still a very good rendition of a creature that would've made Lovecraft shiver to see! I must say though that you remind me slightly of Pickman from Pickman's Model... horribly realistic style in my opinion and that what makes it so great!
