Gift art for a super-special skunky friend of mine. That's a Gibson, I believe - I stole reference from a photo he had.

Although I'm very proud of this, and he was very happy, in some ways I'm beginning to see the limits of my current abilities, as this was a bit of a mess in terms of layers. It's a bit hard to explain. Ultimately, though, I think I some day should look into getting a tablet. Scanning and inking is a bitch - especially since, nowadays, art is often scanned in peices and patched together.
Look at the guitar strings to see the clash between digital medium and scanned traditional mediums.
