Not quite that good. He's still human so he'd tire out after probably the fifteenth horde. Then he'd make a flame shield around himself and planeswalk or teleport away.

Well yes. He doesn't have superhuman perception, as is evident by the numerous times things have taken him by surprise. But if the sniper misses, then he's lost his chance and probably his life.
