Thanks for your , the flower itself wasn't bright or vibrant in color but I will take your suggestion on the lighting and see if I can light it up a bit with a white umbrella as a reflector or a metalic silver one to see if it pulls more color out of it. (wish I had a gold one...next on my list of things I need)
Although it was more of a candid photo then a staged one.

maybe a change in lighting can make the flower look better
the yellow looks a bit "muddy"
i personally prefer a brighter and more vibrant yellow
nice details though
