I agree with pengar, it is very soft. and it gives the feel of how unreal life is even though we know it exists. this photo makes me feel warm.

I love how soft and painterly everything is, this is an amazing piece--not sure if it is edited or not, but it doesn't matter!
I just love the blending of colors. I'm reminded of working with oils and blending with yellow ochre
One tiny critique is I feel the pinecone object is quite a bit too sharp. I like that it is a clear focus point for the compostion, and that works, but the sharpness could be toned down a little, and/or the branch it is attached to made more sharp. (Basically just too stark of a contrast between the pinecone-esque object and the branch that should be holding it at very nearly the same depth.)
