I know this was uploaded a while ago, but after looking through your gallery on Deviant Watch I had to comment.

This picture is cooler than....than...a penguin in a deep freezer on top of Mount Everest. Especially the coloring style, which looks to me exactly like the style of the game (as others pointed out).

I did this one in colored pencil mostly, but the background and the stars and stuff were added in Photoshop, along with a general retouching of the image. Thanks for all the comments, by the way.

I loved this guy! He was probably my favorite character out of the entire game; even more so than Yoshi! Nice job replicating the art style. Great work.
