Pose without scenebuild:First entry for the SFM Week challenge, give it a look! : Challenge #1: PosingJust as promised, we begin our challenge week with something simple.
Posing is EXTREMELY vital in a poster, body language can define someone's emotions, their personality, and even their intentions, which is why it is this day's challenge.
Learning to pose isn't that simple, however, something that helped me a lot to make my own poses, was to base myself in vectors, vectors are AMAZING tools because you can use them as references, and if you do something wrong, you'll be able to use the base to see what went wrong and fix it.
This day's challenge is:
Make a poster based on a vector
And make sure to credit the artist behind said vector too!
Tips and tricks:
Some poses require you to use something called ''Bone locking'' To lock a bone, simply click the square next to it, like this:
Why is it useful?
Depending of the pose, Locking can make things fantastically easier to reach a certain pose you want to make, take this
Derpy's pose was based on this vector:

I would give Derpy and Dinky a good home. I wouldn't want to see them like this, if it was IRL (in real life). Real life or not, I would still give them a good and warm home.

It saddens me when Derpy and Dinky got no home to go to and that's why I brought her to my Mare Manor

The picture entitles 1000 more times than the story itself, truly sad..

Lmfao Day one of Challenge Week and you're giving us a sad!
Helpful advice in the journal too : ) I may not dabble in the 3d art, but I can certainly use this sort of reference-concept with my sketching ^^
Besides the emotion in this piece, I'd have to say that my favourite aspect is the shading and lighting put into it : ) It really brings it all together.

Am I the only one who thinks of the homeless upon first viewing this?
