This is a four page piece I did last year for my website as an epilogue to my contribution “Story of a Rescue” for Iron Circus Comics' anthology FTL Y’All: Tales from the Age of the $200 Warp Drive. The premise for the book was how the world in the near future would respond to the release of schematics by an anonymous source for a faster than light engine that can be built for only $200. It was a lot of fun to work on and contains incredible work by a fantastic lineup of writers and artists. Softcover and digital editions are available at ironcircus.com/product/ftl-yal… .

Obviously, this piece might make a bit more sense if you’ve read the original story, so go grab a copy. I mean, hopefully it’s still worthwhile if you haven’t read the anthology, but you should totally go grab a copy anyway. Just do it. Do IT.

And to be clear, this epilogue is only intended to be an addition to my story and does not speak to how any other contributors interpreted the premise or the schematic’s origins.
