-She was born as a frail foal. Sometimes she couldn't even get out of bed. There wasn't really anything she could do, and as a result she got really bored. So, for her birthday her mom bought her a whole bunch of books. Her sister also bought her a journal to write in. She wrote constantly, and she got really good. She let her sister read it, and she wouldn't shut up about how good it was. Blaze eventually convinced her to start writing professionally. Ghost wasn't really about the fame life, and she didn't really want anyone to know, so she wrote under an alias.
-She's a big ol weeb. She has one of those big anime girl pillows, and she loves reading manga.

-When she was little she saw the Wonderbolts flying over her farm. She was awe struck. She didn't know that you could fly like that. Her mom wasn't a great flyer, and the rest of her family were earth ponies. She looked up everything she could about them, and studied all their flight patterns. She worked her butt off to be able to join the Wonderbolt academy. Eventually she got in.
-Her dad was never one for sports. Especially that of Pegasus sports. He just never saw the appeal, but when Blaze started showing an interest in the Wonderbolts he did everything he could to help her. When she got in he went to all her performances. He didn't express his feelings the best, but he was very proud of her.
