I've decided that, for the summer, I was going to watch all theatrically released Disney animated films. I recently watched Disney's second animated film, Pinocchio, and it was great. The animation was fantastic with its beautiful art direction and lively movement.

For this drawing, I added some changes to the characters, specifically Jiminy Cricket. I gave him antennae and made his body less anthropomorphic and more bug-like. I was just curious what his design would look like if he was more insect-like. As of right now, this is also the drawing I have used the most references for, with five references for Pinocchio and one each for Figaro and Jiminy.
