Alpha Trion said there'd be days like this.I produced this piece in the year 2007. I made it public domain and free to download for anyone. It is now the year 2024, and I continue to see this comic in circulation on various Transformers boards and groups, for which I'm quite flattered. I've taken the opportunity to spruce up my original piece, making if higher-res and easier on the eyes. I also added my new URL to the page.
So please, continue to share it. Maybe some day, I'll make a new one.

So, apparently at some point someone decided it would be a good idea to have the Dinobots merge.

Actually, that reminds me of a conversation I had with my mom a while back. We were on our way home from getting dinner, and I was telling her about some of my favorite Transformers, since my old love of the series had resurfaced. I was telling her about the Stunticons (probably one of my favorite Con teams) and then this happened (though probably not word for word):
Me: And they're a Gestalt, which means they can combine into a bigger robot.
Mom: I remember that from the show.
Me: ...I'm talking about the old Transformers cartoon, not Power Rangers.
Mom: I know, you used to watch the show.
I personally did not remember that (though it does explain that memory I have of a kid in a wheelchair doing something on a computer, then saying the words "You're too late, Megatron"), but apparently I watched it enough that my mom remembers certain things (and before anyone asks, it wasn't the original airing of the show).

I loved that they had a character in a wheel chair. By the way, Chip Chase was his name. And like all humans on the show, he had apparently superhuman strength, because not only could he survive being occasionally attacked by the robots themselves, but he once tore a floppy disk in half!
By the way, the sequel to this page, which never got made, would have had the Dinobots transforming into the Megazord. I love how the joke is so obvious that I've had people actually suggest it to me.

Well, I know his name now, but am glad to know the floppy disk i vaguely recall but didn't mention in case that wasn't really there did, in fact, exist. Yes, I think the fragment of an episode I remember is the same one the floppy tearing occured in, because I just checked and he was kidnapped afterwards, and I also vaguely recall that.
God, it is so weird what my brain remembers. There's a song I haven't heard in years, but to this day I can recite every word of it, even the spoken parts before and after the song ends.
In that case, however, I just listened to that song who knows how many times as a kid.
