Icons for another badge I developed for my website gauthamyerroju.comFor my last badge, I needed simple icons for my hobbies: gaming, writing/drawing, playing the keyboard. Will possibly add icons for reading and music (headphones).
Instead of the entire badge, I have the individual icons available in the zip file.
For the Piano icon, there are two versions. One with transparent space instead of the black keys, one with a dark grey for the black keys. The dark grey version is used inside the circle in the preview image.
Planned enhancements:
- Dark version also in the works for use in dark backgrounds.
- Make vector graphic instead of PNG.
I made using Gimp as I am trying to move away from Photoshop because, open source and free. Coming from Photoshop, Gimp is a maze, but there are lots of resources out there and I'm already getting a hang of things.
I plan on picking up a vector graphics tool soon, I have InkScape in mind.
