All I can say is: love John Kricfalusi the artist. Not John Kricfalusi the creepo. Sometimes you just have to appreciate people for the kind of art they've given us and not always for the choices they make in life.
I mean, he flat-out trashed Animaniacs, another cartoon that I've always loved, but has that stopped me from appreciating his work on Ren & Stimpy?

Some solace lies in the fact that John getting the boot did nothing to impede the remainder of R & S run. His coworkers knew just how much of a dirtbag John K was, and yet they were determined to get the most out of legacy already set in motion - in doing so, it is them who deserve glory and credit for finishing what one person began. And finishing is no small feat - one need to take a single glimpse at John's crowdfunded cartoon to understand!

This is the sad and harsh reality of some celebrities in Hollywood. There's a shocking number of cases where people like John have done ridiculous stunts like this and I don't want to bring up what else happens in the underground industry. Just pick your idols wisely.
