yeeeeeeeeeah i don't think I did very well with the animation. ;A; I'll probably be redoing the second frame to make it look.. well, not so stiff :/ it looks like her bangs are superglued to her face fkjngdfg

anyway.

this is a pixel fanart animation for the vocaloid song, Meltdown/Nuclear Fusion. It sounds silly but I actually have a really strong emotional attachment to this song...

The lyrics portray someone who is constantly bothered and guilted by their past to the point where they wish they could 'dive into a reactor' and melt themselves/their past away, as from my POV, the lyrics could be intending either physical suicide or the 'suicide of the mind'; attempting to take all memories of the past and throw them away, forgetting it ever happened. By the end, the girl (Rin, or as I call her, Melty) faces her past and mistakes (represented by a younger version of herself) and learns to live with them.
At the end of the video, the younger self is seen falling into the reactor. My interpretation of this is that the reactor itself is representative of her life at the end, and by throwing her past into it represents that she cannot completely forget her past, as it is a part of her life, but can put it behind her and live her life by learning from her mistakes.

I felt it somewhat related to me, as I've done some pretty bad things in my past. I've abused and hurt my friends and family and the people around me to the point where I'm so ashamed of my past endeavors that I almost wanted to die. But instead, I learned from my mistakes ad (hopefully) I've become a better person.

Character doesn't belong to me (although I started RPing her a few years ago, and I've gotten pretty attached to her)

Character is the Meltdown appearance of Vocaloid Kagamine Rin.

Song 'Meltdown/Nuclear Fusion' is by iroha/sasaki.
