i kept seeing frisk and chara ponies everywhere and i thought... it'd be fun to design my own.....

i was on the fence about if i should have made them earth ponies or unicorns but i realized unicorns are overrated

feel free to use these designs but please give credit and show me if you do anything. (just please don't draw them with eyelashes i beg you)

ponytale actually could work bc the humans in undertale had magicians to seal the monsters underground and equestria still has monsters... it worked a lot better the more i thought about it whoops i'm so sorry
but come on, even the name is a pun, what's not to love

i also wrote some other stuff as i gave this way too much thought

* Instead of getting sealed underground, monsters are trapped in the Everfree Forest.

* Frisk and Chara both start as blank flanks at the beginning of the game.

* Chara's eyes are hollow and dead. They used to shine when they were alive, but not anymore.

* Frisk gets their cutie mark while surviving Asriel's final attack, during a Pacifist Run. Special talent is being the union of ponies and monsters. Earned by keeping a certain tenderness in their heart.

* Chara gets their mark while speaking to the player for the first time, at the end of the Genocide Run. Special talent is being the embodiment of the player's power. Earned by realizing the purpose of their reincarnation.

* Frisk loses their cutie mark after a True Reset, but Chara does not lose their mark after they get it. It's technically impossible for them to both have their cutie marks at the same time, except for the Soulless Pacifist ending.

* Pony Frisk's name is Frisky Heart. Pony Chara's name is Player Character, but they still prefer Chara.
