Yesterday, I got my new issue but when I looked at the new Beano boss comic for some girl (who I am not naming for privacy reasons despite it appear in the page anyway), I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that GORGEOUS looking art of Minnie on that girl’s sketchpad. If you know me well in real life, then I hope you know I love angels, even if they are just eyes with wings. And despite the angels being eyes with wings and vice versa, I still liked the idea of a human being with dove-like wings. I would love to have wings like this some day, so I could fly wherever I wish to. However, that little drawing that probably only appears in the Beano boss comic (and that I wish there were a full version of that same drawing) inspired me to do something similar.

I wanted to draw a different character but there’s not much characters that I have that fits best, other than Kitty…so I decided to let that stay stuck and drew her anyway. I tried to match the background with my graphite pencil (that caused a mess with my pair of hands) by using the shredding method to get the pencil dust and rub them away on the background. The pose is completely different, especially the art style used here. To be fair, I did enjoy drawing her (other than struggling to make it a bit more realistic with proportions T_T) and I thought it looked beautiful! But now, heres a note to self: Try to draw more characters other than Minnie and Kitty.
