Soaring high above the clouds is the last son of Krypton. A formidable and powerful man, who is a kind and humble farm boy at heart. He flies with the speed and determination of an Eagle as his floats effortlessly through the cold sky, only being warmed by the bright Yellow sun beyond the earth. He enjoys his flight until he hears a cry for help several miles away from where he is, without thinking he takes off and heads in the direction of the person who needs him.. . .
I’ve been wanting to do a piece with Superman flying for a while but had been having difficulty visualizing what exactly I wanted. However, it wasn’t until after rewatching some Fleischer Superman cartoons and watching the flight scene from Steven Spielbergs “Hook” that I had found my inspiration.
