So you may be wondering how this is a Valentines day picture, or even how merpeople would celebrate Valentines Day. They don't really.

But, seahorses have been the symbol of love and devotion since ancient times since they are one of the few species that truly mates for life. When a seahorses mate dies, the survivor usually dies soon after. Another relevant seahorse fact is that they are terrible swimmers, they need to anchor themselves to the reef with their tails or they can easily be swept away in a strong current.

So would All Might (mer version) go out of his way to rescue a seahorse that's been swept away and return it to the reef where it belongs? Of course he would. This is why he's always running late for everything even though he's retired.
