14 years after Emergence Day, former COG soldier Marcus Fenix is sitting his prison cell in Jacinto Maximum Security Prison. As Locust Wretch were on top the cell trying to get in. Then Corporal Dominic Santiago got JACK the Robot Support Drone open his cell. Dom explained to Marcus that everything changed, and Hoffman pardoned all the prisoners except for him.
