Description
After Han Solo survived being Carbon Freeze and is given to Boba Fett in the floating Cloud City on the planet Bespin, after Darth Vader told Lando Calrissian to take Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca the Wookiee, and C-3PO the Protocol Droid to his ship, which wasn't what they agreed early. And Vader told Lando "I am altering the deal, pray I don’t alter it any further."Lando, who was growing very happy with Vader's deal, betrayed the Galactic Empire and freed the two. Chewie, though, was not quick to trust him and reacted violently, choking him. Leia was able to calm him enough for Lando to inform them that Boba Fett was about to leave Cloud City carrying the carbonite-frozen Solo, but there was still a chance to save him.
Note: In the movie this happened after Luke showed up.
