Phineas' Lab is a converted asteroid in the rings of Terra 2. It is the secret base of Phineas Vernon Welles, a scientist opposed to the Halcyon Holdings Corporation. After Phineas recovers the Stranger from the Hope, he takes the Stranger to his lab before sending the Stranger down to the surface of Terra 2 to meet the smuggler Captain Alex Hawthorne.
