"Exactly.  Why hell, if we were all content with what we had there would be no advancement in society."
Pong came to mind, "We are simply out to propogate the advancement of humanity.  Encouraging our growth as a collective species."
"Excuse me," a moment of silence, "could I ask one thing?"
Jim's sideways grin invited me to speak, "Go on ahead boy, if you have something of interest to add to this conversation."
"Thank you..."
"Why of course."
Not as easy as I thought it was.  I tried nodding this time, "Well, I was just thinking about your statements.  You figure that through aquisition, be it illegal or otherwise, you are encouraging the expansionist mentality of human society thus making yourselves at least in part responsible for the creative thinking of man?"
"Thats right."
"Now you get the picture boy," James laid his big hand on my head, "you see, our actions cause people worry.  They worry for their safety, for the safety of their family and their things they have worked so hard to aquire.  So to calm that worry they think of new creative ways to protect themselves, their families and their stuff.  Therefore, we are a direct cause of advanced human thinking and the creative spirit of man."
Now how could I argue with that?
