Description
Just a drawing I started based on Kat's image, which was only a shadow in the pupil of her character's eye. For some reason, in that particular image, I saw this long-necked, bent character that seemed rather depressed, or at least reflective. It wasn't anything she intended, but for some reason, in that black shape I saw this character. I imagine everyone's had a moment when they saw something that didn't exist in either nature or another's work, but this accidental pose was pretty striking. When I did the background, I was just cheating with Photoshop, and opted for simple, especially since the background was pretty unimportant than trying to capture the feeling of the pose I imagined in the art. Needless to say, the whole thing took all of about three hours to do.
