Chapter Twenty-SixHorrific Halloween Pt. I

Halloween…the day of spooks and scares…the day of goblins, ghosts, skeletons, grim reapers and other scary creatures…a holiday of scary ghost stories, eerie noises and haunting sounds…a holiday of wearing scary costumes, and collecting candy as much as possible. Inside Tails’ Workshop, all the characters were getting dressed for this scarry and horrific holiday.

Silver: Zombie (fake blood on head, arm body and leg…fake stitches on arm and crazy zombie looking eyes)

Blaze: Knight (Looks like Percival from Sonic and the Black Knight)

Knuckles: Pirate (A black patch over his right eye, a pirate doo-rag over his head, and earring on his bangs, and a pirate t-shirt)

Charmy: Ghost (holes cut for eyes to see and for wings to fly, and a white sheet covering him)

Rouge: Ring Master (Red vest/suit, black boots, a black top hat and a whip)

Vanilla: Witch (dark purple witch hat and witch clothes, a broom and a small black cauldron)

Espio: Master Ninja (bandages over hands, arms, legs—looks like Nega Espio but different)

Vector: King (gold plastic crown, a staff and a king’s royal robe)

Cream: Ballerina (a small crown, a tutu and ballerina shoes)

Big: Frankenstein (well…just picture Frankenstein for Big)

Sonia: Black Cat (Black ears, paws and tail)

Jet: Grim Reaper (Black robe/cape and a scythe)

Manic: Superhero (a dark green cape, and a big M on his chest)

Storm: Devil (red horns…a red trident, and a devil’s tail)

Wave: Angel (bird wings on back, an a halo)

That’s all of them…phew]

After the adults got dressed, the babies came out wearing their cute outfits. Amy was a fairy (she had on a yellow dress, a yellow headband with a flower on the side, yellow shoes, pink butterfly wings and a wand), Tails was a mummy (almost wrapped up in bandages, but not fully), and Shadow was a vampire (two small plastic fangs, and a small red cape). However, where was Sonic?

“Sonic, please put it on.” Vanilla said. “No!” Sonic shouted. “Please?” Vanilla asked. “No!” Sonic shouted again. “Got him!” Manic said as he grabbed Sonic. “Let me go!” Sonic said. “No can do lil’ bro.” Manic said.

Vanilla finally slipped on the costume for Sonic—a pumpkin (he had on orange shoes, an orange pumpkin costume wardrobe and a stem for a hat).
“Me no like it.” Sonic said, blushing in embarrassment. “Be happy,” Amy said, “We get candy! Me think you are cute.” “Thankies.” Sonic said shyly. “All right kids,” Vanilla said, “Let’s go candy hunting.”

Trick-or-Treat…one famous word to get all types of candy (Snickers, Skittles, Twizzlers, Starbursts, Jolly Ranchers, Sugar Daddies, Gummies and more). The babies had their buckets half full—wondering what they got.

“What you get?” Amy asked. “Candy bars and…umm…Tooth paste.” Sonic replied. “Me got gummies!” Shadow said happily. “Me got apple.” Tails said. ‘Okay kids,” Vanilla said, “Only a few more houses until we go home.” Amy, Shadow, and Tails ran up to the next house and said, “Twick-or-Tweat!” “Wait for me!” Sonic shouted. “HaLlOwEeN…sUcH a FuN hOlIdAy FoR tHe KiDs…WeLl, YoUr FuN wIlL eNd SoOn!” ‘What was that noise?’ Sonic thought. “Sonic are you okay?” Vanilla asked.

As a full moon appeared out of the cloud in the night sky, Sonic’s ears could pick up some howling in the wind.

“Me—AHH!” Sonic screamed as he fell on his hands and knees. “SONIC!” Sonia and Manic screamed.

A jolt of pain surged throughout the small blue blur’s body. The pain worsened by each second…making Sonic feel like fainting. Soon, Sonic’s fur became darker, furrier, and fluffier, small claws appeared on the tip of his fingers, teeth became sharper, and his small tail turned into a wolf tail. Sonic let out a cute small howl and the transformation was complete (hint: the pumpkin costume he wore ripped during his transformation).

“Sonic is a baby werehog?” Knuckles asked, “I thought Tails said Sonic didn’t have that power with him anymore.” “Swonic?” Tails asked. “Don’t go near him,” Wave said, “We don’t know if he is vicious.” “Sonic? You ‘kay?” Shadow asked. “R-Ruff!” Sonic panted. “You so fwuffy!” Amy said, hugging Sonic. “R-Ruff!” Sonic whined as he placed his small wolf tail in between his legs and lowered his ears. Tails looked at Sonic and said, “He needs to go potty.” Ruff!” Sonic agreed as he stood on his fours. “Okay, let’s hurry to the nearest public bathroom.” Vanilla said. “YoU wIlL aLl Be CuRsEd! TrApPeD wItHiN yOuR cOsTuMeS…mY cUrSe FoR hAlLoWeEn NiGhT!”
