Description I decided to go and reshoot this parking garage, which were the first photos I ever posted here on dA. I'll actually have to go back again, because security ran me off before I could get all the angles I wanted. Anyway, the originals were taken with a very poor camera (fear 640x480 max resolution, my friends) and I wanted to try and capture them again with a better camera.

coolpix3100, border in PS7.

If you really want to find the old ones, they're still buried in my gallery. I'm not linking them, though.

very, very nice indeed i saw the old ones a long time ago and remember thinking "ohh too bad the quality's not so good; he'll have to go back". now u definitely did justice to that garage...

sort of a mystical clichΓ©ed urban view, i'd say, but definitely well done here. the angle is very interesting, definitely sets this one apart, making it the best out of the 3, even regardless of the bad quality of the other two. there's something about the very intriguing repeated geometry of the garage that is very well captured here. i love *underground-ink 's expression: 'the sense of mirrors that aren't really there'. that's the primary feel of this urban setting, i think.

not yet to mention the fabulous color tone here... u definitely grabbed the feeling into the picture. and also, the multiple light sources.. the light bulbs.. i like how each one lights up a small area, and all around fades into black... kind of like 'the last one left' (fabulous photo, btw) but multiplied many times here... it produces a very lonely effect somehow, especially when i look at the closest light bulb. talk about city life... crowded, regular, yet lonely..

this is an awesome work, speaker. very well done. i really hope u can go back there sometimes and take several shots from different angles. it is a very interesting and photogenic place.

keep it up!

THis is great...the colours really work well giving it an industrial feel to it along with the sense of mirrors that aren't really there. It leads you into thedistance, yet you try to look against it to see what else you can see..........the perspective to the right I find refreshing, since my eye typically goes the opposte way..........really gives it a uniqueness to me. Too bad about the security. I have the problem now and again.........jsut go back and when they're not looking........'snapsnap'

Well, you may not have gotten all the angles you wanted, but I don't think you can complain about this one. This is great.

/Nice/ angles. Very crisp, very... hmm... industrial? What with the concrete and those blue-gray tones. I love the way you can see down all the different rows of lighting and pole-things...

Oh, and why would security chase you off?

Lovely. I like the feel it has, and the symmetry, and the repetition, as well as the blue colours.

Oooh... very crisp and industrial. I like angle of the shot in particular, how it leads my eye down to the focal point.

And why on earth would you be chased by security? You're merely taking artistic photographs. Or was there a sign that said "no trespassing"????

WOW! this is just awesome... man, its complete bs that this shot hasn't gotten a fav yet. The depth of all those rows of lights and the pillars; the amazing contrast; cool looking shadows... WOW

That is amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing any others you get. The angles on this shot are great. The perspective is fantastic along the right hand row of lights. Perfection.
