Description
The people occupying the frozen North Pole of Clarion, the Udak resemble large humanoid snow-leopards. They have been ruled over for generations by the brutal Drun family, with Lundrun being the dictator reigning during the 1930s. Lundrun opposed the conquests of Rabazar the Ruthless, but not for any high-minded ideals, but merely because Lundrun wanted to retain total control of his own territory.

These guys aren't directly based on any one pop-culture thing. Lundrun, a giant alien cat-man ruling over a frozen kingdom, was a character I created when I was a teenager but never did anything with. I suppose they somewhat resemble the Lion Men from the Flash Gordon stories or the Thundercats? I don't know anything about Thundercats (before my time), but I might come up with a related thing for the Counter-Earth setting once I do some cursory research. The costuming of the Udak is inspired by the Incas, since I thought transposing some of their aesthetics into a frozen location would be visually interesting.
