Description
This was an idea I had for a Grass Type Starter Fakeemon for a while now, and I decided to draw it.
The first Pokemon on the left is Fennelys. It is a Grass Type, and its pecies would be the 'Seedling Pokemon'. Inspired by Fennel Seed pods and a Synaspid Reptile known as Lystrosaurus, Fennelys is actually a prehistoric Pokemon (Because the Ragnarox region has a problem with time going haywire) that should be living 300 million years ago, but had been flung into the present time. The leaves on its back and head are packed with sugars, and many bug types from that era used to chase it for them.
The Pokemon in the Center of the picture is Fennerox. It is a Grass-type that evolves from Fennelys starting at level 18, and would be known as the 'Fennel Bud' Pokemon. It is inspired by multiple mammal-like Synaspids like Dicynodon, as well as the Fennel Plant. Fennerox is a fast runner, capable of outspeeding most other Ragnaroxian Pokemon, but is mostly herbivorous, eating berries and plants normallly, but will jump into rivers to chase after Magikarps if it feels like it.
The Pokemon on the right is Promethrex. It is a dual-type Grass-Fairy type that evolves from Fennerox starting at level 34 (And therefore is the final evolution of Fennelys), and would be known as the 'Fire Stalk' Pokemon. The Inspiration comes from Prometheus, a Titan from Greek Mythos that stole the fire of the Gods and gave it back to men; as well as more mammal-like Reptiles. Despite its typing, Promethrex has an affinity towards fire, and once lit its flower alight to help start a furnace, asthe urban legends say. Promethrex is also responsible for the mauve Pawprint mark on the flanks of it and its pre-evolutions. This is known as the 'Spirit Mark' that allows this Pokemon the ability to Evolve, and is applied soon after hatching by an adult of the herd.
