The game begins. An enchanting serenade fills the air.When the adventure begins, the music is still there.
Mother Brain, Kraid, and Ridley; they have their musical lairs
All with a beat like serotonin, they play: Brinstar, Tourian, Norfair.
In deep red hues,
Ridley takes his cue
As Metroid Metal begins.
A fight in the Depths,
A fight to the death
As music is heard therein.
Across the vast expanse,
Samus makes her stance,
And a ballad for her is made true.
Against a vile Pirate,
Or lost in the Drifts,
A melody is played for you.
The metal in Metroid; a dream made into reality.
The faded notes in the mind are turned into clarity.
With one stroke, the hymns escape obscurity;
Through strings of music are Her themes graced lucidity.
In deep green hues,
Kraid takes his cue
As Metroid Metal begins.
A fight in the Lair,
A fight with the Slayer,
Where music is heard therein.
Through lava and water,
Samus does not falter,
And ballads for her are made true.
Against the invincible
With notes to enthrill,
A melody is played for you.
Deep in the labyrinth are the massive Metroids;
Tourian – a place with the feeling of a void.
Quick to make it through, the music is enjoyed,
And Samus finds the Mother; her death employed.
In deep grey hues,
The Brain takes her cue
As the Metroid ballad comes true.
Felled to the death,
Now run, Samus, with stealth!
